3. Antone's

Since 1975, the iconic Antone's is Austin's home of the blues. Antone's is located in downtown Austin on Fifth Street and has brought a variety of blues and R&B musicians such as B.B King, Jimmy Reed, and Muddy Water to the Austin music scene. Antone's was restored in 2015 with a new team that brought the legendary venue back to downtown with a renewed focus on making Antone's the Home of the Blues.

4. Saxon Pub

At The Saxon Pub, you can catch numerous acts in one night! The Saxon Pub opened in 1990 and has hosted over 30,000 musical performances and has been the location for films and live recordings. Enjoy free weekday happy hour shows or a late-night performance!

5. Continental Club

The granddaddy of all local music venues! Located on South Congress, The Continental Club opened its doors in 1955 and has hosted Paul Ray, Cobras, and Double Trouble during the '70s and '80s. Its Continental Gallery located upstairs presents has a space that can hold 40 people making it an intimate venue for performances.
