1. Clean Gutters

Carefully climb up a latter and remove as much debris as you can with your hands. Don't forget to wear protective clothing such as gloves and protective glasses for your eyes. Make use of a garden hose that can help get rid of debris from your gutter.

2. Patch Cracks

Noticed new cracks in your driveway? Patch or seal it to keep water out. Small cracks can lead to large damages which can cost a lot more in the future if you don't choose to fix it now. This process can be done via DIY or by hiring a professional to help you out.

3. Replace Filters

Whether it is your air filter, range hood, water, or furnace filter, it's important to replace these four. Replacing your air filter at home helps improve the health of your HVAC system. It also improves its lifespan and minimizes the need for repairs. Grease, gasses, and other pollutants can damage your range hood so make sure you regularly clean out its filters. Water filters are also very important to clean and/or replace! Get rid of your old water filter to avoid particles that could contaminate your drinking water. If you have been using your furnace at home during the cold winter months, don't forget to replace it as well. It is ideal to replace your filters every 3-6 months although this can depend on your usage and the type of filter you have.
