Lake Austin Waterfront Homes | Spyglass RealtyWhen you think of Texas, you might think of big open fields, cattle drives, and country music. But there’s much more to the state than that. Austin, the capital of Texas, is a rapidly growing city with a diverse population and a vibrant culture.

Lake Austin is a reservoir created by two dams along the lower colorado river from Downtown Austin to Lake Travis. It’s a beautiful area, with hills, trees, and, of course, the lake. It’s a great place to live if you want to be close to the big city but still have a serene and private lake living.

Popcorn Ceiling | Spyglass Realty

Asbestos can often be found in popcorn ceilings and other textured ceilings. This naturally-occurring material that was commonly used as an industrial insulator has also been identified as a hazardous substance. Over 39,000 American lives are lost due to asbestos-related diseases every year.

Testing for asbestos is important if you are worried about the presence of asbestos in your home.
