Matt Fajkus Architecture
MF Architecture is an award-winning, licensed architecture office that welcomes residential and commercial projects, both small and large. The brilliant mind behind designing some of the best Austin homes and commercial spaces in Austin is Matt Fakjus.
Matt, a native of Austin, holds a Master in Architecture from Havard University Graduate School of Design where he completed his thesis work with Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rafael Moneo. In 2010, Matt established MF Architecture and achieved significant experience in architectural practice. He worked in numerous high-profile, international large-scale projects, as well as small-scaled award-winning projects. He was then awarded two AIA National Emerging Professional Awards in 2012.
My wife and I toured a Matt Fajkus Architecture home a couple of days ago and needless to say, we were drooling all over the place. However, we weren't the only ones doing so. Inadvertently overhearing other people's conversations also fostered an overall sense of admiration and adulation for the property.
I noticed that all elements of the home were made sustainably, utilizing elements of nature in the design. Examples would include energy-efficient strategies, passive daylighting, and intelligent material choices to promote healthy indoor air quality. And this isn't the first home of this extraordinary make -- I've had the pleasure of seeing a handful of these homes over the years and each is shown to be more beautiful than the one before.

The practice aims for clear and simple solutions to complex problems by blending expertise as well as experimentation.
