Something About East Austin

East Austin is an older section of the city where you will find a mix of historic and new construction that consists of quiet neighborhoods and a vibrant nightlife. For the working class, they are set next to modern condos and commercial developments.

More between the ages for 20-30s have moved in and the east of Austin has grown itself with an upscale of restaurants and water holes. There are also taco joints and bars that are originally kept there. One of the best-kept secrets in Austin is the east side across I-35; a place for young Austintines that can enjoy the amenities of Central Austin without the price tag itself.

 

Neighborhoods in East Austin

Some of the known neighborhoods in the area are East Cesar Chavez, a diverse active neighborhood with home styles that reflect neighborhood as well. Rosewood, an improving neighborhood with great proximity to the city center, green space, and convenient access to public transportation. Holly, a neighborhood on the works of rejuvenation whereas large homes and multi-story condos are planned to be built to attract young professionals and families.

Upper Boogy Creek, a standard residential suburb with a touch of local Austin’s charm. The neighborhood appeals to all sorts of residents from families, single professionals, and students. Chestnut is a smaller neighborhood with a mix of homes and low-rent apartments.

The neighborhoods in East Austin are on the rise and is considered as one of the most intriguing parts of the city.
