Wimberly is located 16 miles from San Marcos and an hour from Downtown Austin is a small town that is loved by its residents for its artisans, hospitality, and sense of style. The lovely city sits on the Hill Country terrain and home to different sorts of trees, wildflowers, deers, and the armadillo.

The population in the area is under 3,000, although the city is loved by visitors especially from the neighboring cities of Austin and San Antonio that are looking for adventures in Wimberly. There are also events in the area with w down-home approach to its guests. One of these is Market Days. the second-largest shopping event in Texas that is held on the first Saturday of the month from April to December and has more than 450 booths!

Corral Theatre is a walk-in outdoor movie theatre that is one of the attractions in Wimberly where you can enjoy sitting on the lawn while watching a film. They are open from early May to early September from Fridays to Sundays. One of the landmarks in the area that attracts most visitors is Jacob’s Well. Don’t forget to call in for reservations since they have limits in order to maintain and protect the swimming area. Blue Hole Regional Park has the Blue Hold Swimming Area where you can find a beautiful pool under the tall cypress trees.
