About Pflugerville
Pflugerville has a strong sense of German heritage as it was first settled by Henry Pfluger Sr. in 1849. A farmer from German who had fallen on hard times in the Prussian War. His family raised corn, rye, wheat, beans, and more. Pflugerville started to develop during the 20th century and is now one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in Austin.
The city of Pflugerville also has a lot of activities and entertainment options for its residents. There are green spaces and water parks that are perfect for families. The Northeast Metropolitan Park offers 349-acres of sports fields, basketball and tennis courts as well as trails for jogging and biking. Falcon Pointe Splash Park is an amenity that is open to the public situated within the Falcon Pointe neighborhood.
