Vineyard Estates, Vineyard Ridge, Sierra West, and RimRock as some of the new communities within the area that offers diverse home styles and plans to choose from. Students in Driftwood will attend schools found within the Dripping Springs ISD, Hays ISD, or Wimberley ISD. Each of the following school systems offers an array of educational curriculum. The schools depend on which side or area of Driftwood you are located.

To the northern side of Driftwood, your children will likely go to Dripping Springs ISD. If you're from the southern side, most likely your child will attend Wimberley ISD. And if you reside within the middle areas of Driftwood such as La Ventana, your kids will likely be served by the Hays ISD.
