The location is fantastic, as it is situated in a very family-friendly area that is conveniently located near shopping centers and two grocery stores, one in Leander and the other in Cedar Park. Leander is located in north Austin and has close proximity to other north Austin suburbs including Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Georgetown.
The community is home to great amenities, including a pool, playground, and volleyball courts. Residents are located just across from the Williamson County Regional Park, which boasts numerous soccer, softball, and football fields, as well as tennis and basketball courts, a 400-meter track, bike, and hike trails, a disc golf course, and a splash pad.
There are inventory homes for sale in the community, and interested buyers can also purchase a lot and build their own homes, with many features and amenities already included in the base price.
Cons of Living in Lost Woods Preserve
Some of the cons of the area include the price being more aggressive compared to other nearby areas. While the location is desirable, the price point may be on the higher side, with homes priced at $600,000, which is higher than other areas close to it.
The community is also part of an HOA with a monthly fee of $65, which may not be ideal for those who do not want to be part of an HOA community or have issues with any of the HOA restrictions.
