Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Emily moved out west to attend Arizona State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. After graduation, she decided to move to Austin and start a career in hospitality management. She worked in hotels for over 8 years, developing a strong customer service background.
As a licensed Realtor, Emily assists both buyers and sellers at Spyglass Realty. She prides herself on her professionalism and attention to detail and strives to consistently provide the highest level of service to her clients. Like many Austin locals, Emily stays active by spending time outdoors. She enjoys hiking the greenbelt with her dogs and spending time at the lake. I found Spyglass on Angie’s List. Emily Shea was our assigned realtor. She got right down to business but there was no “pushing or shoving”. Because we are “old” and live in assisted living her patience was phenomenal. My husband took forever to figure out what he wanted to keep! Then we had quite a bit leftover. Emily saw to it that the rest was moved out and dealt with and that the house was as presentable as it could be for a lived in 50 year old house. That was immensely helpful because we just couldn’t do it. It was finally put on the market on Friday and sold by Monday. We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.
