Throughout his tenure at GMAC Dustin had the opportunity to negotiate in excess of 1,000 closed real estate transactions. This volume afforded him unique insights into how the real estate markets function, as well as what motivates buyers and sellers. My husband met Dustin through his wife who was a colleague of his on a business trip in California (I think, he travels a lot). We were living in Las Vegas and wanted to move to Austin and start our family here. When it rains it pours we got pregnant a lot sooner than expected and before I knew it, I was 5 months pregnant and looking for a home to purchase long distance in one of the most competitive neighborhoods in Austin. Dustin took care of us every step of the way. My experience with other realtors in a market like this is that they really don't have your best interest put forth, they feel like if you don't want to pay up then someone else will. Not the case with Dustin at all, he kept a level head and fought for us through the entire process. Even after the sale was final, there was a tenant that had 2 months left on her lease. He managed the property for us and also oversaw some minor construction we had done prior to making the move, all done so and refusing to take an extra dime for it.
