The Effects of Staging on an Austin Home Sale
If you have followed any of our past advertisements or posts, you probably already know that staging a home for sale is one of the factors that we consider essential to selling a home. We provide this service free of charge, and believe me, it's not an easy task. Our stagers spend a considerable amount of time making recommendations for renovations, coordinating those renovations, and then staging a home to make it more appealing to the largest audience of buyers.
What is home staging?
Wikipedia defines staging as "The act of preparing a private residence for sale in the real estate marketplace. The goal of staging is to make a home appealing to the highest number of potential buyers, thereby selling a property more swiftly and for more money."
For us, it includes color coordination, renovations advice (and subsequent coordination) and preparing home sellers, vendors and photographers to place the property in the best possible light so as to then expose the property to the market to the biggest audience we can show it to through our internet marketing program.
Below is a graph of what the effects of staging are on the market.
For us, personally, renovation services are a part of the service we provide to our clients that is included in our listing commission. To hear more about our renovation services, see our Before and After Video Gallery and fill out a schedule form to talk about what we can do for you.
Below is a real life example of a property where we let an agent into before it was staged for sale and what happened after they received the virtual tour.
