From an early age, April had an unparalleled work ethic combined with a passion for helping others. After growing up in the DFW area, those combined elements lead her to acquire two Bachelor of Science degrees: one degree in Public Health Education from Texas A&M and a second degree in Nursing from Texas Tech.
She moved to her beloved new city of Austin in 2005 where she steered her career towards the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Over the course of her 12 years as a NICU nurse she directly and positively influenced the lives of many parents and children from all walks of life, many of whom still keep in touch.
As fate would have it, April saw a new avenue to direct her passion for helping others through real estate. Having experienced her own journeys through the home buying and selling process, she saw how an experienced, knowledgeable, present and kind agent can make all the difference in often the biggest financial decision individuals and families undertake in their lives. Her background as a nurse being the perfect foundation for such qualities, she took the leap to make the career change and couldn’t be more thrilled with her choice.
April brings her diligence to the role of a real estate agent with drive and determination. She’s used her thirst for information to establish a well versed knowledge of the Austin housing market, national and local builders, and investment opportunities. She uses her innate compassion and professionalism to help guide her clients through the buying and selling process.
When she’s not working, you can find April on the sidelines of her sons’ soccer games, on Lake Travis, hiking with the world’s best dog, Scout, or frequenting her favorite sushi restaurants with her husband.
