Isabel grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and attended Villanova University, outside of Philadelphia, where she met her husband, fellow real estate agent Chris Affinito. Shortly after college Isabel and Chris moved to Hoboken, New Jersey.
She stumbled into residential real estate accidentally when she was working for CBRE, one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the world. She decided to move her license to a residential firm in Hoboken. She fell in love with running a business and helping people achieve their ideal lifestyle.
It only took a few trips to Austin for Isabel and Chris to fall in love with the city. They decided to move here permanently and start in a brand new market where they knew almost no one. Isabel developed a knack for marketing, and because she already knew how to relate to people and their struggles with real estate, she quickly became a multi-million dollar producer. After just four years in Austin, she had a thriving business. In 2018, Isabel received the prestigious 30 Under 30 award by REALTOR magazine, which celebrates agents across the country under the age of thirty for various achievements, and was featured on the magazine’s cover.
She is a constant learner and is always testing out new ways to engage people. When asked about what she loves most about real estate, Isabel will tell you that it is complex human experiences involved in the process. Real estate happens to be the product, but it’s all about the people. As a real estate agent, she has learned how to run a business, sell, and negotiate on the highest level.
For Isabel, the human experience and human potential are fascinating, and she is happy to talk to you for hours about history, theology, psychology, self-help, and spirituality. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, Crossfit, reading, dancing, yoga, travel and spending time with her husband, Chris and their rescue mutt Rosie.
