Welcome to Travis Heights

Travis Heights is one of, if not THE, hottest neighborhoods in Austin. It's not easy to get into. The price points are higher in some areas than others, and there's a reason for that. The school districts that feel into this area differ greatly, the amenities for each neighborhood are quite unique to each other, and many of the homes that are listed are purchased before they hit the market, or the people that are plugged into the areas get first dibs.

We know this is a daunting process to buy a home in such a hot area. But luckily, you've come to the right place.

Spyglass Realty is the #1 local 78704 brokerage with the top sales in 78704 and the most 5-star reviews of any 78704 brokerage. We are completely plugged into this zip code with more advertising, client referrals, and local area knowledge than anyone in the area.

This means that we can help you navigate through the intricacies of this area AND we set advanced notice of many listings. This means we can give our buyers advanced notice of these home before most of the other buyers can.

Location

About Travis Heights

The Travis Heights neighborhood is full of more than 20,000 unique homes—large historic mansions, smaller renovated bungalows and craftsmans, modern apartments, sizable yards, and detached garages with apartments. A prime location in the coveted 78704 zip code means this is one of the more expensive areas of town—expect to pay anywhere from $300,000 to $2 million. Travis Heights is known to have an eclectic and diverse population of students, artists, musicians, families and longtime residents who espouse the “Keep Austin Weird” attitude.

Mature trees shade the houses and hilly streets, which can offer great downtown and Lady Bird Lake views. There are also several major parks such as the 9-acre Stacy Park, which includes the Big Stacy spring-fed pool and the Little Stacy Park and swimming pool, providing residents with sporting and play equipment, picnic areas, and a hike-and-bike trail.

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the many outdoor amenities of Stacy Park and trails surrounding Lady Bird Lake and Blunn Creek Greenbelt. Dogs can romp at the Norwood Estate off-leash dog park on Riverside.
