A favorite thing of mine to do in downtown Austin is to have a dinner and drinks.  This can be hard to do with prices downtown, but you can still have an affordable night in downtown Austin for a relatively low price.  A couple of affordable places are Garridos and Mulberry’s Wine Bar, both located at the base of The 360 Condos.  You can get there around 7:30 on a Friday night and, typically, there is only a relatively low wait.  They have full service bar where you can get a margarita while you wait for your table.  Just about every meal is priced under $20 and over half is under $15.  A dinner there with drinks can run from $50-$60 with drinks if you are drinking moderately.

After you finish your meal, walk over to another favorite place of mine in downtown Austin, Mulberry’s Wine Bar, just a short 1 minute walk to from Garrido’s and also at the bottom of The 360 Condos.  It has a great atmosphere for a small place and I find myself frequenting this place around once month. 

Of course, this is anther reason besides the location to two of the best music venues in town (La Zona Rosa and Austin Music Hall) that I think The 360 Condos takes that cake as the best condo location for downtown Austin condos.
