6. Hamilton Pool

This beautiful swimming hole is located 45 minutes away from Downtown Austin within the city of Dripping Springs. It has a gorgeous 50-feet waterfall from Hamilton Creek. The natural pool was created when the river’s dome collapsed due to erosion years ago. The pool is surrounded by slabs of limestone resting by the water’s edge. 7. Lake Pflugerville

Lake Pflugerville is a 180-acre reservoir in Pflugerville, Texas. The beach in the area is a great place to swim! They also allow kayak rentals, pavilions, and picnic areas.

8. Blue Hole

The spring-fed water in the Blue Hole Swimming Area is great to swim in during a hot Texas day! The park includes trails, pavilions, courts, and picnic areas. The entire park is open for visitors, however, swimming during the season is only allowed in designated areas. Give them a call for reservations and inquiries!


9. Campbell’s Hole

10. Bartholomew Pool
